We need some ACTION! Some INDICTMENTS! Some LEAKS! Something!
Dammit!

So much is roiling around just under the surface, and so much is unresolved! And so many scandals just get lost in the media blackouts. And so much is just stonewalled. And so many criminal acts at the hands of Bushco are just never exposed. So many Americans know so little about the evil.

WHEN will there be accountability? After 2008 is too late. Elections could be suspended, remember.

Action now! Indictments now! Leaks now!

As Jack Bauer said of the very evil President Logan: "He can't stay president one more day."

3. How about a Democrat go on TV and call Bush "a lying criminal"
How would that be for some action?

Now for me to go back to sleep and keep dreaming.

5. HOW ABOUT Getting SOME Group To Organize ANOTHER
MARCH in D.C.? Sometime in late September. The weather should be moderate at least, AND we need to send a message!

Yes, I know maybe THEY won't cover it, but this time I think they will. If we don't DO SOMETHING before 2006, I don't think the horizon looks very rosy!

And yes, I KNOW... I KEEP POSTING THIS!! C'mon everyone, we NEED to take some ACTION! The letter writing, petitions, phone calls, blogging and all this stuff just isn't enough! I don't know HOW to go about organizing something like this, I'm small potatoes in a very red state, in a very red county!

Just asking AGAIN!!!

7. marches don't work
....at least the marches where the cause is diluted into a hundred fragmented issues don't work. The "save the whales earth day east timor darfur peta answer" marches (as valued as all those individual causes might be) don't work to draw the attention of the American public to the fact that we're slipping into fascism. If an American happens to see one of those marches on c-span, where marchers are too often unkempt or on stilts, he or she writes the protest off to being a "bunch of hippies" or some other irrelevant designation.

I always look to the Civil Rights marches for a model of how to really, truly bring about change. The marchers were dressed in suits and ties and dresses. They weren't partying. They weren't drumming or dancing. They were purposeful, serious, and resolute.

If there must be marches, I believe a thousand people dressed in serious clothes walking quietly would make a better impression than ten thousand bobbing along in papier mache and face paint. Just my opinion.

8. Guess I'm Just An Out-Of Date Hippie Myself!
I simply feel some kind of "middle class revolt" would be better than just sitting here at my P.C.!

Nothing ELSE has worked so far, and THEY are still getting their way! Nothing is happening to "the corrupt ones" that I see. Not anything on a significant level anyway.

I heard on CNN that when they polled about the Banning of Gay Marriage Amendment, the response was a toss-up. In fact, I think it polled out to be 50% FOR it, and 47% Against! And before you say, Oh that's just CNN, let me just say... it's what THEY listen to! If THEY keep this stuff up and THEY keep getting their way... this time next year I'll still be sitting here blogging.

What answers do you have?? I'm completely fed up with all that's going on, PLUS there are far too many people I hear AND know who are looking for a 3rd Party. What do you think THAT will do. I myself and about to bolt! Our leaders are doing very very little to help THEIR base. But the Repukes, whether you want to call it pandering or not, THEY do get out with the wedge issues and we just sit here.

I just feel like not matter how much I try to get people interested OR to join in political debate, most just say Congress is Corrupt and I don't even want to vote. No voters, even WITH election fraud leaves the door WIDE OPEN.
