DEBRA BOWEN's opponent for Calif SoS doesn't even have web site!
DEBRA BOWEN was the first CA state legislator to put up a web site and get an email address. She is largely responsible for government documents being available to the public on line. She's a legislative expert on electronic voting, and a major advocate of election transparency and open government. As a state senator, she held public hearings on open source code (non-secret vote tabulation programming code) and on Diebold shill/Schwarzenegger appointee Bruce McPherson's illegal certification of Diebold voting machines. She is the VERY BEST Sec of State candidate imaginable.

Her opponent in the Dem primary--Deborah Ortiz--doesn't have a clue about electronic voting, and has made alarmingly naive statements about it. She doesn't even have a web site! That's how interested she is in communicating her views on transparent elections.

If you haven't voted yet, vote for DEBRA BOWEN for Secretary of State. If you've voted already, get someone else who hasn't voted yet to vote for BOWEN. Call, email friends. Post to blogs. Spread the word! We need a strong, knowledgeable candidate and strong public advocate to counter the Bushite corporations that are taking over our election system and running it on "TRADE SECRET," PROPRIETARY programming code. BOWEN is strong, tough and smart--and very knowledgeable on this issue, and also on voter purging issues. Really, we couldn't ask for better. I'm amazed that the race is even close (as pre-election polls seemed to indicate). Bowen got the endorsement of 80% of the rank and filed at the Dem state convention.

1. Debra Bowen's opponent may be the Democratic nominee in a few hours
The time for campaigning is pretty much over. These candidates are both good Democrats despite whichever you personally choose to support.

3. Ortiz the PukeHead
Was just on a Sacramento TV station and she mad ethe statement in her brief interview
that there has NEVER been any claim of fraud in A California Election, especially not related
to voting machinery.

Made me ill. FIrst the corporate-state owned TV media doesn't ever mention Bowen. Then they
let her opponent make these erroneous statements unchallenged.
