He spent half of his concluding administrative remarks for tomorrow's order of business referring to the Estate Tax as the "Death Tax":

"I further request consensus on the cloture vote for the discussion of the Death Tax...will be granted an extra ten minutes for remarks on the Death Tax...I want to once again shamelessly refer to the Estate Tax as the "Death Tax"...the Walton family is paying me a lot of money to constantly say "Death Tax"...I'm just a whore for the repeal of the Death Tax...Even though it's not really called and shouldn't be called the Death Tax..."

This is what they do best: Create and nurture a 2-4 word meme, broadcast it everywhere (600 + radio stations, multiple cable TV outlets, RW websites, on and on) and it will WORK.

Democrats should counter with the "birth tax" meme, the amount of debt every newborn American citizen inherits upon arrival into this world. Every new baby already owes over $30,000 to countries like China and Saudi Arabia, thanks to GW Bunnypants and the compound interest to the national deficit rolled up by Ronny Raygun.

The phrase "birth tax" is very appropriate. I'm going to email my Senators that meme. (I would email it to my congressman, but he's Republican Jeff Garrett, a Club For Growth-funded sleazeball.)
