Canada's environment Minister not thinking globally. Print E-mail
Wednesday, 07 June 2006
When Canada's environment Minister Rona Ambrose was asked about the refusal of the US Congress to fund the Kyoto alternative "Asian-Pacific Partnership" she replied "I am concerned about the priorities of the Canadian environment. Canada differs greatly from the U.S.".
Does this young lady even know what Global Warming is or what the word "global" means?

Rest here: http://allpoliticsnow.com/content/view/18/1/

I think she's just too young and inexperienced. If you look at her education and experience she's better suited for a public relations job, not a Ministerial role. And of course she's fulfilling a public relations role by simply dancing around the Kyoto Accord with a bunch of non-specific double-talk.

1. She was a "communcations consultant". That "splains" it.

2. She's there for one purpose: to place roadblocks in front of efforts
to curb global warming, while making it sound like they're concerned and working on it.

3. SPIN! SPIN! SPIN! That is what "communications consultants" do for a
living.
