4. Under the current corrupt administration

Democracy doesn't exist...If the election fraud is allowed to be committed without any recourse than we are no better off than a third world country and perhaps that is what the Republicans want. The Cheney-Bushism type government is a dictatorship now so if 2006 turns out to be just a formality than our Democracy is over and our constitution is just a meaningless piece of paper..

10. Question is...
just how long will the media and the Beltway Dems continue to sing their business-as-usual song? Will 2006 be a Ukraine style breaking point? I can't say I'm hopeful...

5. Pissed off
I'm already making plans. I want to start forming an organization to deal with this. If I have to go around from poll place to poll place where these machines are being used and document the fraud myself with a camera, then that's what I'm going to do. If I get arrested, then that's fine by me. It's time we stood up. They're not going to stop cheating us until we give them a reason to stop. And since our wimpy ass candidates seem perfectly content to sit down and take it, that means it's up to us.

I've never started a political action group before. I don't have much money, but I've got a lot of fight in me. And hey, if I'm going to live under dictatorship indefinitely, I'm at least going to fight like hell, for my own sanity as well as for the future. But if anyone has any ideas on how to go about this, I'm all ears.

But I've had enough. It's time to raise BLOODY HELL!

7. There already is an organization
It is called the Democratic party. You may know the leaders - those guys/gals in Washington - help make laws - can make special speaches that are covered on c-span - can get press coverage a heck of lot easier than you or I can. Since they are the ones most directly affected - if they don't do something than nothing is going to be done. Why are they silent?

8. Good question
And since they are silent, that means that it's going to have to be someone else.

12. I would suggest...
...that you need to pressure the people that make the laws to do something. Only the people that decide what machines are used and how (the lawmakers) can change this. Popular movements can be very effective at getting them to decide to get in front of the already formed parade. Sometime leaders have to be lead to lead in the correct direction. If they don't change it then the only way it can be "someone else" is if someone else gets into the position of power that can make the change.

13. Yes, but the problem is
How does anyone else get into positions of power when the vote is rigged? That is why we have to take to the streets and make noise.

16. The House and Senate....
...are fairly close to being evenly divided right now. Half of those people in positions of power are the ones that you think the vote is being rigged against. Sure they are a minority that limits what they can accomplish, but it doesn't mean that their mouths are taped shut. If they don't take it seriously then no one will.

6. Has anyone ever given any thought to the possibility
that anyone in the position to stop these fraudulent elections have their lives threatened and remain silent about it.

14. What do you think the anthrax attack was about?
The got all the dirty pictures from the National Enquirer and they had access to the Hart Office building for 6 months.

Add that to all the ones who have 'compromissed' themselves at some of those parties at the Watergate and I'd say you would have that person by the balls.

19. Of COURSE we've considered it. But it's their job and their duty
to continue to raise the question and investigate, even if they have been threatened. In fact, they are required to REPORT that they have been threatened, and send the police after the bad guys. They are not supposed to just do what the bad guys say. That's cowardly.

9. I'll feel good
We're going to have a big year, particularly in governorships, which I prioritize. Everything we don't win is pure theft and mostly Diebold. I learned that years ago.

11. I Will Be Shocked
Because Diebold is the most honest company in the world. And Republicans only care about counting any vote.

Ask this same question in 2020, because the same shit will be going on and 99% of this Country will say. Oh well.

17. Feel? Better than today
Why? Because we are close to cracking this case.

RFK is in the lead, even Dean said it is a priority. We are making great strides at getting rid of the machines.

Each of us will need to help our brothers and sisters overcome the roadblocks being placed in front of the balloting boxes. We each need to become involved in how our local process takes place so that we can jump the hurdles.

We can do this, not only will we succeed in unplugging many of the machines, we will get a record number of people at the polls this year. It will be close this year, but in 2008 we will have far more control over our votes. We can do this with everyone pulling along!

Yeeehah!
