Hot Tip from an unimpeachable source
Edited on Sun Jun-11-06 12:45 PM by MissWaverly
This is a confidential source but it is 100% accurate, believe me. A source with White House
contacts has stated that the White House knows that the GOP will lose the house in November.
All the data, all their analysis shows this. - This is what I heard verbatim.

This is what I concluded, which you can throw out with the fish if you like.
So all the dem baiting that you see about what Murtha said is just them using their hate tactics for fun and profit.

1. I don't believe that for a minute.
Sorry, but this gang of thugs always has an agenda.

Always.

3. Or it is an attempt to try and explain the sudden "win" by Republicans
after the vote is stolen. That is the usual strategy: steal the election while creating a false pretext about why they won. They are not about to relinquish power, especially now.

4. Sounds the same as "exit polls" telling us Kerry "had won" by 2PM on
election day. The message? Stand down. Relax. Don't organize. Don't fight. Don't worry about voting!

You need a link.

7. I can't do a link when I am the source
Edited on Sun Jun-11-06 12:43 PM by MissWaverly
I am thinking that I earned a reputation here for saying it like it is, and this is what I heard. Believe me, it is from an unimpeachable source which I am protecting.

19. Well that is great. We still need source information. Perhaps the other
Edited on Sun Jun-11-06 01:15 PM by applegrove
blogs like Daily Kos and such will pick up the story. You could contact them and let them double dutch verify it..and then print it as a verified anon source. Ever thought of that?

We do like sources for our information. That's pretty much standard format when posting a bit of information.

I'm sure any one of the blogs you follow could help you out on that account.

Remember that the buzz at Yearly Kos meeting is that Liepold was somehow duped with the Fitz story a month ago.

We have to be very discerning.. and somehow...doing some work and getting your story verified.. would help out a great deal.

Cause even if it is true.. it does serve the means and ends of the GOP to keep people from getting involved.. it plays to their apathy. "Oh it is safe - I can relax and just sit back and watch". So even if it is true that that is how the WH crunches the numbers.. it is part of the story who leaked it.. if it comes directly from the WH - what purpose does it serve them to leak it to a source in the Dem party...or an activist on the left? This is all part of the story too.

Goes to the meaning.

The medium is the message and all.

or anybody else, I hear the news using unidentified sources all the time, I am telling you this
is the real deal. Don't you realize that if I gave details the source could be singled out
and punished, but my source wanted the word out there and instructed me to put it up on the blogs.

10. I believe what you are saying
and, there was a post earlier today (darn, I wish I had paid more attention), that said essentially the same thing -- that the GOP will lose the house, but, it added, that they will narrowly retain the Senate.

11. Thanks for this information
Could the reason they feel they can't steal the elections is that there are too many vulnerable seats, and that it would be too risky because they might be exposed? House districts are usually a lot smaller than a whole state (I know some states have only 1 rep; not talking of those), and I would think it harder to hide vote stealing in a smaller area than in an entire state-too many people know other people.

12. that's a very astute analysis
Also they are probably just itching to get someone else to blame before the 2008 elections,
they really can't excuse what has gone on because they are the majority party. They
probably hope the democats will clean up their dung heap so that some of it will stick
to the clean up crew so that they can come roaring back in 08.

14. Yes, I hadn't thought of it that way,
but it makes sense, too. I was also thinking that they wanted to make sure their cheating would remain intact for '08--if there is scandal about stolen elections again this year, more states might opt for paper ballots.

18. The blame game:
The danger for the republicans if they loose the house, would be the power of investigation. They will make it hell for Pelosi. I hope that she's up to it. Conyers and Rangel will expect this, and hopefully will be sly enough to protect the house. Nevertheless, if the Dems protect their turf too much, nothing will get done.

Thanks MissWaverly.

22. If you had seen how they carried on about Murtha on This Week
How can he plan on running for the Majority position when the election hasn't even happen yet.
They crucified him over using the same information that the White House has. Why because
he cares more about the boys in Iraq than the Unitary Executive.

Edited on Sun Jun-11-06 01:13 PM by mrcheerful
city and state had a puke congress bribe taker on this morning saying the same thing. He was whining about how almost every puke congressman was up for re-election this year and how it could cost them the majority in november. This being a heavy puke controlled district I'm pretty sure it is being put out there to drive puke voters to the polls this november. You think fox news is bad, try listening to a local station that only repeats what fox puts out there, the news station is either NBC or ABC affiliated, I'm not sure which because I tend to not watch it normally. Though the program right before it was called This Week.

& what would depress this crew, Katrina, Iraq, our wounded soldiers, no a divorce from their

will be in the pudding. I have very strong doubts of a Dem victory in November. Great hopes, but strong doubts. If they Republicans can't win honestly, they will simply cheat.
