Just for kicks, I think Holy Joe should go Independent & then Al Gore
endorse Ned Lamont in the Connecticut Primary.

I think it would be a cathartic experience for Gore.

It would be for me, anyway.

That recent poll from Rasmussen is a harbinger of a rough-n-tough summer for Lieberman.

5. You're right -- it's a possibility, but so is a Lamont surge. We just
had no idea -- or at least I didn't -- how fast Ned Lamont's ascent would be.

Also we aren't exactly sure how much of that is purely anti-Lieberman and how much is strictly pro-Lamont.

I'm thinking Lamont is a very attractive and appealing figure who is surging more on his own positives and less on Joe's negatives.

Just a hunch.

7. You'd GET Lamont -- and, what's better, he'd be the Dem in the race!
And be endorsed by Al Gore, who chose Holy Joe as his veep nom in '00.
