1/2 of Bush victory margin in New Mexico in 2004 ghost votes
This is from the book: Armed Madhouse by Greg Palast, Dutton Books

Page 223

"The official poltergeist vote in New Mexico was 2,087. But normal "undervoting" masked the
total of "extra" votes. Statistically corrected, the ghost vote was higher-a samll sum, but
about half of George Bush's "victory" margin in the state. Before you leap to conclusions,
let's just say that George Bush is very popular among the undead."

This is contrasted with uncounted Kerry votes:

Pages 222-223

"Almost every precinct (In New Mexico) recording more votes than voters went for Bush, whereas
almost all precincts with huge votes uncounted are Kerry's. Every case, every time. Extra
votes-Bush's. Votes lost-Kerry's.

1. The MSM will never cover this,
or take it seriously. If God came down and announced the Bush stole the election they'd dismiss it as unsubstantiated partisan conspiracy theories.

3. We have to keep up the pressure
not even the votes of the latino soldiers from Iraq were counted, or the black soldiers
that were delibarately caged in Florida, On the page opposite of 206 in Armed Madhouse,
Palast shows a Republican "Caging List" that lists names with the address as "naval station:
They are always "play-acting, looking at the cameras with support the troops, like the
garbage we heard tonight on c-span on the house floor. Meanwhile, they are deliberately
and methodically stripping these soldiers of their votes.

4. They Won't Cover The '06 Theft Either
If Dems think they really have a shot at taking control of either house in November, they're in for a surprise.

It's all been decided except the voting, and they count the votes.

6. We have to make them care
Keep up the pressure, answer every poll, if you have problems registering or voting, call every
paper, blog here, swear an affadavit and lodge a complaint. Don't let this happen, remember
there are people walking around w/o a leg or a hand so that we could have this right.

10. I Try. People Think I'm Nuts. Nobody Believes Me
I have one friend who agrees completely, in fact, she says she knew before the election that they were going to fix it.

But I'm beginning to feel so helpless. If Olbermann covering the Fraud for a few weeks in late 04, a Rolling Stone article by Robert Kennedy Jr., many studies by statistical PHd's. What can I possibly do?

This country just does not care. It is not my responsibility to teach people what democracy means. It is not my responsibility to tell people that elections are more important than voting for the next american idol. It is not my responsibility to explain how FRAUD can permeate technology, and fixing of elections is tantamount to a dictatorship.

I think it's too late to save this country. I realize that there are people here at DU who refuse to give up, and I admire that. I just believe it's a waste of time, because the average american is more concerned with the latest x-box game, than the fact our country is facist, and will probably never be the same again.

11. be patient, the scandals are starting to break

I love the smell of hot sizzling scandal in the morning.

We have it all, hookers, stretch limos, Hawaiian hideaways, payola, drugs and a long hot summer
to bbq some politicians in some voter wrath.

14. They Control Everything
I appreciate your optimism, and sense of hope. But it's just not there for the average person. It may be obvious to you. You may believe that it will all come out, and everybody will be repulsed. I just have seen the reaction of the public, and there is no concern. There is no anger. Nobody gives a shit.

Like someone said earlier, God could appear in the form of a reincarnated George Burns, and give proof that the elections were fixed for the last 6 years, and people would say...."Wow! Hey, God, whatever happened to that blonde in Aruba?"

15. it's not that way up here in Maryland
Edited on Thu Jun-15-06 08:14 PM by MissWaverly
Well first we had a Republican governor elected, Bob Ehrlich, his motto is "So honest it hurts."
So he believes in the flat tax for everything. The Chesapeake Bay is polluted, don't go after
corporate polluters, make all the average folks pay a "flush tax" which means that my sewer
bill went from $19.00 to $48.00. The same way with the auto tags, $75 to $125 to fix up the
roads. So now we have our public utilities deregulated and our utility company wants a 76%
increase, now voters are threatening to vote out of office anyone who supports this. They
are talking of a modified hike and it is now on Ehrlich's desk to consider.
If you are a politician, voters are just like sharks in the water.
They're circling and you just never know when they'll attack.

:-)

12. People hate being cheated
wait to all these payola scandals start to break, I heard something about the vice president's
office being involved in a no bid contract to a Halli-bacon subsidiary. The Judge made them
"declassify" the documents.

7. Well, maybe
But most Americans polled now think that the election in 04 was stolen, so we are making
progress.

8. But the MSM still ignores it,
or calls it conspiracy theories.

The majority of Americans have never had any significant political influence without a fight.

9. I remember someone posted here after the 04 election
the GOP visited her mother's house after the 04 election, they were trying to drum up support
for a local campaign and her mother had always been a big supporter of the GOP, she quietly
cleaned beans while they gave their spiel and they asked how much she wanted to give, she
calmly replied: Nothing, I don't support cheaters, please take me off your list. I think
people have a good idea that the country is on the wrong track and who put it there.

the saddest thing is that Greg Palast said that the same thing happened in New Mexico in
2000, the system is rigged so that the votes do not show up in Democratic precincts of latino
voters or native americans.

13. Republican High, page 245 of Armed Madhouse
"The GOP seemed to get awfully lucky with registration switches to the Republican party in critical counties in swing states...and an amazing number of Florida college students, at least
4,000 of them, mostly African American, who switched to the Republican Party a month before the
November 2004 election."

16. Page 227 Armed Madhouse
"So why in the world would poliicians rush to put in the system that costs a whole lot more,
loses many more votes and can't be audited.

Could the answer be that it's not their votes that are lost? The giant differential in spoilage
between paper and computer is far higher in minority precincts than white ones, by a factor
of three."

17. My idea for 2006
If they are going to bang the "Support the Troops" drum. There ought to be a documentary on
Greg's Palast documentation of the deliberate stripping of votes from our soldiers serving
in Iraq. Let's show the American people just how much the Republicans support the troops
and what they are doing in Iraq. I believe in supporting the troops with services and not
rhetoric.

18. K&R - Hey, I'm a "coincidence theorist"...
:sarcasm:
get with the program. The laws of science and mathematics don't matter when it comes to *. There are forces of a "higher father" in play. And when you're that "high" you can make anything happen.

Amazing, this will be on the Nightly News right?

No, the laws of science don't apply

400 votes for Kerry, 400 votes for Kerry, and 200 votes for Kerry = 4000 votes for Bush

23. Richardson, ready for takeoff from page 256-257
of Armed Madhouse by Greg Palast
"What about all those suspect spoiled votes in Hispanic and Indian precincts stuck inside the
machines? Why didn't this Mexican American Democrat ask for a recount? It didn't just slip
Richardson's little mind: He actively did everything in his power to stop a recount. I was told
that it was Richardson himself who encouraged Secretary of State Virgil-Giron to reject the
$114,000 payment from concerned Democrats. The Governor was too busy to speak with me about this." - page 256
"The number of delegates to the Democratic Party county convention from each precinct is determined by that precinct's vote for the Democratic candidate for president." Got that?
Now, it so happens that there was a factional battle royal within the Democratic Party (so
what's new); and it so happens, the lower the recorded vote for Kerry in Hispanic districts,
the lower the number of delegates who oppose Richardson's faction." page 257

Let me just say right now that I will never support Bill Richardson's as a nominee for president of the United States. Never, ever, never...no options.
