Christopher Shays (R) on CSPAN: Iraq = The Revolutionary War
and Iraq = The Civil War.

"If we had a media then who advocated "cut and run", we would have lost those wars."

"Only 1/3 of Americans supported the American Revolution."

Go fuck yourself Shays.

4. Dumbass. It's not even apples and oranges; it's apples and tuning forks.
The 2/3 of "Americans" who didn't support the American Revolution weren't American; they were British, just like the 1/3 who did. They were all British subjects, and some of them decided they wanted to be independent. It's true that there were more Tories than revolutionaries, but "cutting and running" was never an option. The revolutionaries would have been executed for sedition. And a lot of the "media" were against them.

It just fries my ass when numbnuts like Shays and the other Republican mouthpieces come up with idiotic phony analogies that have no basis in history.

8. Maybe Shays can run against Senator Lamont in 2012
Hopefully he and Joe will be retired from their current occupations after this year.

9. I'm not a big fan of Chris Shays. 'Wouldn't bother me much if a Democrat
were to replace him in November.

'Wouldn't bother me at all.

Not one little bit.
