He made his word good. And we have W, the twice unelected president.

20. I hate like hell to piss on your parade, since you seem to be
having such a good time and all.

You may have noticed that getting the vote totals to move was a little tough. They don't do it on every poll, although they are supposed to-somebody's a little sloppy at times- but the reason the numbers don't change is that this poll is dead. It's been turned off, as it's supposed to be.
This Lou Dobbs poll is the one he ran for today's (now yesterday's) show.

He announces the poll results at the end of the show and then the poll is disabled-won't take any more votes- although they do leave it up 'till tomorrow so people can see it.

Don't mean to be making fun of anyone--elections are serious business-- (well, maybe a little) but this is, unfortunately, yesterday's business.

21. Does that mean I can't vote no?
Machines will help us in the long run, no over votes and only intentional under votes. I'm much more afraid of the guaranteed vote spoilage via punch cards than I am of Diebold. Obviously I want mandatory paper trails, like here in Nevada starting this year.

22. Heheh!
In this particular poll, you can't vote in any direction.

I totally agree, elections have to be totally transparent, and it's up to the election operators to prove, at all times, that there is zero fraud.

Contrary to what some people think, normal rules of evidence don't apply as an election is not a trial.
No one is entitled to the benefit of any doubt. If there is any doubt, the election in invalid on its face.

A mass of doubt of any significance automatically disqualifies the election--gotta start over, or, as you so succinctly refer to, there has to be a manually written backup document that can be physically counted.

The standard is not how much fraud can an election stand and still be valid. It's not even "reasonable doubt," whatever that might be.
The only standard for free and fair elections is immediate provability. If there should be a reasonable suspicion and the results cannot be verified easily, the whole thing must be scrapped and a new one instituted that has those qualities.

43. Way to go, Lou Dobbs!
Dobbs: President and Senate allied with 'corporate supremacists'

"If the House fails in its duty to represent the will of American citizens, our nation will be forever changed.

"The will of the people," Thomas Jefferson said, "is the only legitimate foundation of any government." But if President Bush and the Senate prevail, it will be a clear victory for corporate supremacists, advocacy groups and dominant special interests and a historical defeat for our middle-class working men and women and their families."

We need to post a link to this in every nook and cranny on the internet!

Nice job Lou..

It's nice to be on board.

It's not often that we get a MSM willing to use this kind of terminology 'corporate supremacists'

I can't "Recommend Topic for Greatest Page" yet. It would be good if we can keep this one alive.
