Tell Joe not to go.
Edited on Fri Jun-16-06 01:29 AM by Tiggeroshii
It seems that Skinner has looked to urge the DSCC to support the Democratic nominee. This is only because Joe might switch to Independent. For those whose blood doesn't boil at the thought of Lieberman as a Democrat and for those who want control of the Senate, fill out the form in the link below.

2. Yeah, I don't care about Democrats not getting control of the Senate
either.

4. Sure. I support Lamont.

But urging Lieberman to leave even if he wins the Democratic nomination(and especially if he doesn't) would only help us lose a seat in the Senate- and ultimately Democratic control; nothing else. This petition is only asking Lieberman to endorse Lamont if Lamont wins the nomination. Lamont has vowed to do the same for Lieberman.

5. Don't know about skinner. I get that if you support an aggressive
and mishandled war.. progressives are not going to be able to stand you. I mean many fell for the lies. Then they corrected themselves when it seemed..this was a war somehow the petagon didn't want to win too soon and peace was not the desired result.

That being said. Dems are either a big tent.. or not.

Right now the GOP is running around claiming to be a "big tent" party.

I don't think Lieberman was voting anything but who he is. Though I disagree ... he does get to vote his conscience. I think he is more worried about WWIII breaking out than we are. I think he is wrong. But I don't think he gets to it from a pov of wanting political power (which is the only thing the repukes are about these days..governance? solving problems? forgetaboutit ..what matters only the the GOP is that Karl Rove has 30 years of power).

I don't exactly know if Lieberman actually still believes this will make the ME safe. I just know the votes and statements he makes have diminished him a great deal.

Other than this war. Lieberman is as great a Dem as any.
