1. Probably more reps with the same thoughts
but they are afraid of their leadership. Kudos to Gilchrist for having the integrity to tell it like it is.

2. Three Republicans voted NO on R.861, two voted PRESENT.

Final vote was 256 in favor of the resolution with 153 against--not quite the overwhelming yes vote the Rethugs were looking for on their "debate" on Iraq.

3. Gilchrist initially supported Boehner for House Leadership
when De Lay was endicted and had to step down. At the 11th hour, he switched his support to Blunt over Boehner. So, he's been a sort of free-thinker for a while now.
