COLONEL Murtha I salute you
Just heard a part of his speech on the radio:

"I get so upset when I hear people talking about how we are fighting in Iraq. The troops are fighting in Iraq, not one member of Congress."

Oh I love it when some chucklehead chickenhawk huffs and puffs and talks about what "we" are doing.

1. I agree. And I generally don't agree with him on much
but I think the chickenhawks have picked the WRONG target. fools.

2. I don't recall that I had even heard of John Murtha before I saw
him on the news talking about deploying the troops in Iraq. I have come to really admire the man for his stand in support of our troops. It really burns me to hear anyone question his courage or patriotism just because he doesn't support Bush's policies in Iraq.
