Our Soccer Team had to be moved to an Army Base in Germany
for security reasons. The team is competing in the world cup. Thanks to bush we are hated around the globe and "conservatives" think thats just fucking great.

2. Well, the game tomorrow will be near Ramstein, so it actually makes sense
Security-wise it's naturally BS, like the flag-less bus. It's either paranoia or an attempt to appear endangered, don't ask me. Other than that I don't see a problem. The base is near the stadium and a few GIs might actually be soccer fans.

The interesting thing was Arena's "I don't make those decisions" -

4. Actually....
....there have been many riots with the World Cups fans--some were even killed for 'being noisy' or celebrating a win--and they protested Iran, Poles got thrown in jail, and others were a virtual mob. All this had nothing to do with United States and USA 'hatred'. It's been quite apart from that.
