Semantic Sensitivity
I don't know if I'm just in a particularly sensitive semantic mood today, but if I hear one more g-damned Repub refer to the Democrat party, especially on the House and Senate floor, I'm going to scream! It's the Democratic Party you damn nitwits!!!

And what's all of the crap about setting an arbitrary date for withdrawal from Iraq? Name one person who just wants to pull a date out of a hat and call it withdrawal day? Seriously, when these sanctimonious bastards stand on the House floor and rail against the Democrat Party wanting to set an arbitrary date, we should all just agree with them and state the obvious. We're not calling for some arbitrary date, you morons, we're calling for a well thought out, flexible, reasonable time-table for a draw down of troops. It's about damn time someone stop making arbitrary decisions regarding the fiasco and start thinking things through.

Some days are just made for screaming....

1. Democrats, this is a talking point. Use it.
RE: "withdrawal date"

Republicans are using a combination of phrases in an effort to link the Democratic party to NOT supporting the troops. The phrases "withdrawal", "withdrawal date", "cut and run", and "Democrats do not support the troops" etc. are CONSTANTLY being used. They are SYSTEMATICALLY linking these phrases together to solidify their negative spin on the Democrats.

Ask Republicans: " Name ONE person who just wants to pull a date out of a hat and call it withdrawal day." (stated by "Semantic Sensitivity"). Demand that they respond. They (Politicians as well as the Republican-owned corporate media) are all USING these phrases. But what is worse is that I have not heard ONE Democrat stand up to a Republican on this issue. We must demand for SPECIFIC clarification of what would otherwise be called deliberate misinformation from Republicans.

The majority of Americans WANT OUR TROOPS OUT of Iraq. The IRAQI GOVERNMENT wants our troops to leave also. Our "Coalition of the Willing" is almost non-existence for the same reason. It is only the Bush regime that wants to stay.

Thank you "Semantic Sensitivity".
