GOP really is desperate
A little more than a decade ago, when the GOP wanted to make a point and get attention but not have it point to any elected politican they used Rush Limbaugh. He could grab attention, say outlandish things, and the elected bunch could shrug their shoulders and "valiantly" try to excuse Limbaugh. Now, Limbaugh doesn't get headlines, the only paper space he gets is "Police Blotter" space, with his mugshot. So to diffuse the mounting charges and allegations they now have to resort to the likes of Ann Coultergeist.

This really is a show of desperation. How else can they try to diffuse legitimate attacks from credible accusers, such as the 9/11 widows? They couldn't really say anything themselves, because the 9/11 widows are speaking the truth. The only way to diffuse what they have to say, is to put somebody like a "Limbaughlike character out there" Since Limbaugh has gone limp, enter A. C---t. She is now the official fly paypher for the right. Next time when she is on ANY show, I'd ask in another 5 years to a decade, who is the GOP going to find to go lower than you?

1. Their hate spiel and claiming to be the victim at the same time
is falling flat. Coulter's attack on widows equalled Limbaugh's attack on Chelsea Clinton's looks when she was 13. These are not nice people. They are venom filled and who will wildly lash out against anyone who doesn't follow their very narrow political beliefs. They are rabid. They are bushbots.

6. Your right, they have no fear.............I wonder why?
Why are the Dems SOOOOOOO VERY fearful, and the GOP not?

The media first distorts then replays the "Dean Scream" a million times or more, but with the GOP slimeballs, well how many times has the media playes AC's most outrageous statements?

8. Thanks, it dawned on me last night, while I couldn't sleep, that
Coultergeist is merely an amplified version of Limpaugh. She is out there to detract attention from the real issues and be the GOP's personal slime ball thrower and catcher. While she says "her" outrageous things and attacks the legitimate remarks/concerns of the Dem's most effective symbols/speakers, she takes the focus off of THE ISSUE and puts it on her outrageous and slime ball comments. Then she makes a ton of money in the process.

I have hated A. Coultergeist for years, but I have come to realize that she is serving an important purpose for the GOP, and as usual, and unfortunately, it does work to some extent. She gets us all of topic and point. She helps frame the discussion and that is where we fall into her trap.

9. I don't think they are doing themselves any favors with Ann.
she will appeal to the hardened 30% bigots, racists, and homophobes but most will see her as the mascot of the Republicans and turn against them.

10. We could only hope!
I fear that every moment spent on TV on her, is one less moment to make the counter point and a moment for us wasted and gone with our points somewhat stalled or even diminished.

13. I decided to watch FOX today.
They sit around telling each other stories about how it isn't so bad and will all work out---somehow. They almost seemed to know they were just making stuff up. To fool the audience, and themselves a little too? At the end Kristol kind of trailed off, and then sort of laughed at himself--he knew he wasn't making any sense at all.

Brit Hume interviews the two Dems trying to get them to say something, anything that he can use. "But don't you think you are even more ridiculous losers than we are, huh?" He seems to be pleading. They aren't biting.

These people are unmasked. They are weak and their policies do not work. They have to stand back and let the Democrats take over, like it or not. The jig is up, the lies don't work anymore. We have the facts, the brains, the answers. We are strong and know what we're talking about. They're paper tigers. Don't be fooled or cowed--not anymore.
