Camp Wellstone, Some last opportunities for political training in '06
Edited on Sun Jun-18-06 10:27 PM by FogerRox

Take advantage of these last opportunities to get ready for the fall campaign
For people involved in 2006 campaigns and initiatives, here are some last opportunities to hone your skills and get ready for the fall campaign!

Between now and the end of August, Wellstone Action will conduct 3 Camp Wellstones and a training for young people interested in gaining grassroots organizing skills.

Camp Wellstone Baltimore: June 23-25
http://www.wellstone.org/camp/events_detail.aspx?itemID=7892&catID=3752

Campus Camp Wellstone: National Student Organizing Training (for college students only): July 11
http://www.wellstone.org/camp/events_detail.aspx?itemID=8044&catID=4557

Camp Wellstone Eau Claire, WI: July 21-23

Camp Wellstone Houston: August 18-20

These last opportunties are crucial to Winning in '06, please KNR, and think about going, I did & it helped clarify my own vision, defending our country. I volunteered for McGovern in '72. More recently I was on staff for Kerry Edwards '04 in FL, then I went to Camp Wellstone. Even though I knew more than the basics, the program was very challenging. And whats really cool, is that I met some people who ran and won. And its an awesome networking opportunity.

My name is Roger, and I ok'ed this message.

11. Hey Robin, thanks for the EMail about voting for Carol Gay
Great news!!!
Out of 200 candidates, NJ's progressive communities own, Carol Gay
(D/NJ-4th), was voted in as one of 40 candidates
in the 2nd round Marc Warner's PAC Mapchangers contest! She has a
chance to win $5000 and she needs all our help to do it.
Go to:
http://www.forwardtogetherpac.com/mapchangers
If you HAVEN"T voted yet, you need to log in/create an account, only
takes 2 seconds and then click on the link to activate it when u get
their email back (this way only one vote per person)
Then when you are signed in, click and drag Carol Gay's name to vote
