Uh oh. The Repubs may be starting a new surprise tactic.
Today I read that the GOP Judicial Review Committee are insisting on the NSA investigation and Bush OK'd a new wildlife preserve.

Could this be the beginning Rove's new plan?
Perform a few responsible acts before the elections to sway the fence sitters?
If they strongly publicize a few times the GOP actually does it's job correctly, it could have a strong effect at regaining some lost votes.

After the elections, back to business as usual of course. To hell with this democracy crap.

1. It is just too incredible to believe
that anyone is on the fence concerning this administration and the republican party. Everything they do is politics driven, period. And they have the luxury of a solid base, a shrinking base, but the diehards will vote gop regardless of their crimes, lies, and trickery.

Nothing surprises me at this point. This has Rove written all over it.

2. Are you speaking of the new "National Monument" in the
pacific ocean including some small, northern, I believe, Hawaiian islands?

Where is Midway Atoll?

At less than 150 miles east of the International Dateline, Midway Atoll is truly "midway" around the world from the Greenwich meridian. The atoll lies about 2,800 miles west of San Francisco and 2,200 miles east of Japan. It is situated near the northwestern end of the Hawaiian Islands archipelago.

5. Yes. This article confirms it. Our new national monument is

located at the Midway Atoll. There are 2 airsrtips there. Why do you think the repukes would like to rope off a big section of the ocean and call it a national monument? Well, in order to end fishing there. Y'know, people snooping around! Now let's see. How close is this to Korea and China. I'll do some googling and see!

"President Bush wants to do more. Within five years, all commercial and recreational fishing will be prohibited."
