Edited on Wed Jun-21-06 12:07 PM by NoSheep
I think I know why we just got a national monument from the repukes. See my comments here and tell me what you think. Something seems a little "fishy":

2. You have an excellent point
Makes them look like tree huggers. I think their master plan is to totally obfuscate whatever the fuck they are doing to make it so much easier for the lemmings not to vote for them. I know that sounds confusing but dealing with bush supporters is like playing with a puppy.

3. Do you think they may want to reopen a base at Midway but keep
it secret?

5. That was my first thought.
Gitmo is too public, Diego Garcia is controlled by the Brits and they're not as solid as they were a couple years ago...What better place for an inaccessible prison?

4. This whole thing smells terrible
Even tho it was six years in the making, * didn't have to go as far as he (they) did.

My first thoughts were that they wanted to minimize boat traffic in the area.

This is also a great site for amphibious assault drills that used to be held on the main Hawaiian Islands.

6. I think it fell in their lap. Yes...it's been in the works for a while
but I can just see the sick little gears in their heads working now.
