Leahy now leading off the debate on the Kerry/Feingold amendment.
He is a co-sponsor of the Kerry amendment and just indicated that he will vote for both the Kerry and the Levin amendments.

1. Reminding us that Reagan supported Saddam
Bordering on "Well duh!" outside Congress, but something of a taboo to bring that up in the Senate, right?

6. Too bad no Democrats are publically demanding they do so.
At some point, we need to DO SOMETHING about media bias rather than using it as an excuse for why our message gets lost.

Which Democrats w/ media access (and dont tell me there are none) are openly and loudly demanding that the media give us equal time on the issues?

7. It was good in the House
A few Dems I didn't know got up and just slammed the Repubs with every statistic ever it seemed.

I'm sure the freeps and their friends couldn't keep up and just rejected it, but many other people who are not well off now took it to heart.
