Some of the nominal Democrats I see on the yakker shows just make my head spin. Its the same ones, over and over and over and over. These people do NOT represent the party and they surely don't represent liberals.

Right now, there's Breezy Joe Biden, a man who has no 'we' in his vocabulary.

"I" said this.

"I" did that.

"I" don't want to comment on Senator Clinton.

"I" have a plan for Iraq.

If what he says, prefaced by "I" was good stuff, I could forgive the outsized ego. But what he says is triangualting bullshit meant to be wing-nut-lite. Oh he can talk a good talk now and again, but he stands for NOTHING but himself.

My question today: How do the yakker shows get their guests? Is there **any** way someone can get some rotation in our lineup?

How refreshing it would be to hear a Barney Frank. Or a liberal back bencher. Frank Lautenberg. Ted Kennedy. Barbara Boxer. You know ..... someone other than some ain't-ever-gunna-make-it 08 wannabe? Why do these Democratic asshats get all the spot light?

I know the answer. I just can't stand the idea.

4. Get used to it, its one of those "08 wanabes"
who'll be the nominee in '08... not a Boxer, Kennedy or a Barney Frank.

11. Getting use to it?

The difficulty about accepting the yammering is that the 08ers are going to cost us 06. I agree that the 08ers are jockeying for position and trying to distinguish themselves. The debate becomes about their varying positions rather than what is best for the country. They are also scarfing up big bucks that is needed by 06 candidates. As long as they continue to do this, they are doing us, the party, and the country a huge disservice.

They're making a lot of sense, articulating substantive ideas without a lot of rhetoric.

7. That was VERY refreshing
My own Senator Babs shojld get much more air time as the 'Dean of the Democratic Women Senators' and she's got a good stance and a way of speaking that is 'annoyingly' ordinary in her "Bawlimore" accent. She's the *real* 'real deal'.

6. Like you, I'm really tired of Joe Biden. Something about him,
I cant' stand.

And yes, it's always "I" with him. He needs to get over himself...cause I certainly have! If he's on, I don't even watch.

8. This is the reason I cannot ABIDE Biden...
yabber, yabber, yabber, me, me, me...

Then, there's Jane Harmon. I know you can't see me, but I'm rolling my eyes... What is this woman's problem? And, there are more. Many more. But, Biden is the one we need to find a way to gag, and I'd like to do it by shoving Harmon down his throat.
