Doonesbury on Flag Burning
Garry Trudeau is really on his game with Doonesbury lately… He's been on the theme of a Bush administration official bribing a young man to burn an American flag in front of CNN to justify the nonsensical wedge issue that Team Bush and the GOP have been trying to shove down our throats.

It's satire, of course, but do you really doubt this could happen?

3. If you doubt this kind of thing happens...
You probably don't realize how depraved, dishonest and corrupt a large chunck of those who would be considered to be "our leaders" actually are. We are in urgent need of some serious "house cleaning" in this country--after all, what have we come to when our very own President feels free to lie to us (every time his lips move)?
