I was doing my thing for the Democratic..
...party in Georgia yesterday. Polling only Democrats.

I don't make up the questions - just them and record the results.

Three of the questions asked about the approval rating of these guys:

Zell Miller 76% approve - 17% disapprove - 7% don't know/don't care/didn't answer
Ed Koch 61% 20% 19%
Joe Lieberman 55% 26% 19%

All of these have a higher approval rating than President Bush - 54%

And these were all Democrats I polled.

I wish others in DU would publish their party poll results if they know them.

3. Yes, but old (taken Saturday 7/8/06)
Perdue 54% Cox 42% Cox has been gaining lately
Perdue 54% Taylor 40% Taylor stays about the same.

Cox 48% Taylor 45%

But this is just for our Congressional District - not all of Georgia.

5. That's a narrower Cox/Taylor spread than some other polls I've seen
I just mailed in my absentee ballot for the primary, and was interested in what you've seen & heard on the ground. Seems inevitable that Sonny will prevail, though I'm not ready to give up hope.

Thanks for the info!

2. Democrats in our state seem to be the ones
that hark back to the Civil War maybe. They're confederate Democrats.
