Poll question: Balance and counterbalance on the world stage
In days of yore, there were times of international balance and times in which there was none.

The Greek, Etruscan, Roman, Ottoman, and Byzantine Empires. And other examples ....

Allies vs Axis. US vs USSR. NATO vs Eastern Bloc. SEATO vs Red China. And other examples .......

And now ........ who will be the next counterbalance?

.... do you think Europe would oppose us militarily? Or just try to counter us diplomatically and financially?
