Georgia Republicans prove again that they won't be totally hypocritical
In 1998 Attorney General Bowers was running for governor of Georgia. Bowers is infamous for his hatred of gays and was the Bowers of Bowers v Hardwick and a companion case where he fired a lesbian lawyer. Then it turned out he was an adulterer, in a state where adultery is actually illegal. He lost the primary.

In 2006 it was Reed's turn. Reed is a lying, theiving, hypocrite who richly deserved to lose.

In 2008, will the nation's Republicans do the same? Two of the named candidates for President are adulterers who make Clinton look like a monk. Guiliani was kicked out of Gracie Mansion by his wife after he announced he was divorcing her to NY city's press corps. He then moved in with two gay men and has since married the homewrecking mistress he was seeing. Newt Ginrich left his first wife when she got cancer and then refused to pay child support, committed adultery on wife 2 with who is now wife 3, and was taped by wife 2 while with the mistress who became wife 3. If either one of these get any serious consideration by a party which Impeached Bill Clinton for adultery, then the GOP is one gigantic hypocrite party. Either adultery is wrong or it isn't. It doesn't get more simple than that.

1. Party Uber Alles
That's all that matters to them. Hypocrisy is for wusses.

Unless, of course, one applies logic.
