Politics Over Priorities

House Replugs took the opportuntiy to play politics instead of working on the priorties of the American people.This incliuded a failed attempt to amend our Constitution to prohibit same sex marriage. We do not need to enshrine discrimination and bigotry into the Constitution in order to "protect" marriage. American families are not a risk from same sex marriage. What they are risk from is stagnant wages,sky high health care costs, and record gas prices.

Likewise Replugs pushed a court stripping bill to "Protect" the phrase "under God" in the national pledge of allegiance- a waste of time at best,and unconstitutional at worst. If Replugs truly wanted to show compassion, they would work towards policies that benefit our society and raise the $5.15 per hour national minimum wage.

Congress should be addressing the real needs and concerns of the American people, Not holding political voted to distract and divide America. We need a New Direction , and we need it now. We do not need Karl Rove telling us what issues to care about. We as Voters will decide that in Nov. Brothers and Sisters if their issues do not show you why we most vote them out. The current wars should. We need no more of the Rubber Stamp Congress for the President and Rove.

What are the American people going to do?...that's the question!!
