Are any of shrubeenies signing statements available to be studied?

I have heard so much talk about these 807 documents and some have been cited in newspaper articles. Are these public documents (should be) and are we the public able to read and study them? I would think they should be just as public as the law they are attached to.

BTW - Bush wrote these himself right? So he understands exactly what he put in each and every one?

Each and every one of them stated that parts of each bill that required him to be accountable to Congress---was null and void.

Basically, each signing statement said that he could do what he want--when he wanted--and that he didn't need to notify or get permission from Congress on ANYTHING.

Obviously, provisions were written into each of these bills--which required the pResident to consult with and inform Congress about his actions.

Why are signing statements even allowed?

I read an article about signing statements. Junior has signed more of them than ALL PRESIDENTS COMBINED.
