Congress may soon allow an increase of 10 billion dollars to the FY 2007 DOD Appropriations bill after Army and Marine Corps officials warned of a funding shortfall that could jeopardize readiness. The Marine Corps needs 4.7 billion dollars to REPAIR, UPGRADE OR REPLACE EQUIPMENT.
The Marine Corps has already taken helicopters out of ten year retirement to replace those damaged in Irag.
We will be greeted as liberators and Iraq will pay for everything.
