Now by now we should all be fermiliar with Matt Druge's "The Druge Report" a website that's famous for spreading properganda for the GOP and spreading lies about the Democratic party and other liberals, well now there is a spin-off to the site.

I'm not sure when they did it but the DCCC launched a website called "The Fudge Report" a site designed to bring the truth about the corrupt GOP Senate.

The site even looks like the druge report website.

Anyhoo the website is www.fudgereport.net it's worth checking out.

2. The dccc is a companion of the dlc and is a DINO run and

operated group. Emmanuel is probably just a D-wearing member of the infamous Lobby. I find him despicable. He did absolutely NOTHING when the GOP invalidated or disallowed the votes of thousands of voters in 2000 and 2004 but suddenly he has just now come to life? Give me a break!

The dlc and the dccc are just two organizations wearing the same coat. Their job is to turn all Democrats into moderates because moderates will go along well with the hardliners plans for the world.I don't trust the leaders of either group any farther than I can throw a feather.

Pelosi is a member? Yeah? So what? She is not above being bought just like Hillary and the dlc.

Emmanuel does not have an original idea of his own. He has to copy someone else's idea. That's why this new website.

For once I would like to see some LOYAL true 100% Democrats leading the Democratic Party instead of these middle-of-the-roaders who will take whichever side seems beneficial at the time.

5. Yeah, that's why the Democrats are in the shitty position we find
ourselves in. We don't really LOOK at the leaders of these organizations and demand to know what their real intentions are. We just get pulled in by pretty new websites and stuff.

Any real Democrat would be asking WHY DIDN'T GROUPS LIKE DCCC TAKE TO THE STREETS WHEN THOSE VOTES WERE DISALLOWED OR NOT COUNTED? WHY WAS THERE NO OUTRAGE THEN? WHY IS THERE NO OUTRAGE NOW? WHERE WAS THE DCCC WHEN THAT HAPPENED? Oh, I know...they were holding a think tank to plan a takeoff of the Drudge Report. Really important stuff, don'cha know...

Well, for those who need that kind of kick...enjoy!

4. The DSCC, not the DCCC, launched the site
They announce the "Fudge Report" at http://www.dscc.org/

6. I just visited the site because I wanted to see just who is running
THIS legislative-controlling organization. Of course I recognized absolutely none of the names of the senior staff.

Who is funding the dscc? How long have they been in existence? I didn't see this info at the site. If someone else sees it, please post the info.

Interesting to note, however, they have a jobs listing segment so some of the younger more ambitious DUers who are interested in jobs in politics should take note and visit the dscc home site. Let's see if these jobs are really open to all. Also, let's prove that there ARE jobs that people want and that DUers ARE among those who are willing to work. (Didn't someone recently say that there are jobs that Americans don't want and that they don't WANT to work?)BTW, if you get one of the listed jobs, you may have to relocate.

I also visited the Fudge Report. Not a word about election fraud. What could be MORE IMPORTANT with 2006 elections right around the corner? It's a nice, cutesy-wootsey, fuzzy-wuzzy site...but I already have plenty of those bookmarked. I would like to see some hard-hitting stuff coming from our side...but then...that's me.

9. They are all Schumer's picks
I found an article at http://newyorkmetro.com/news/politics/16584/index1.html Below is an excerpt:

When Schumer took the helm of the DSCC last year, he became personally immersed in the weeds of the operation, hiring his own team, messing around in primaries, recruiting candidates, and personally lecturing them about how to run a campaign using what he calls the Schumer Method. That’s his secret recipe for his own New York victory, and he is now franchising it out. He instructs his candidates to very carefully define the prototypical swing voters in their home states—for him, it’s the imaginary Joe and Ilene O’Reilly from Massapequa—and then craft a campaign to meet their needs. To reach these local Joes and Ilenes regularly, he also coaches his candidates to get home and hit every media market in their state at least once a month. “The head of the DSCC used to be just a fund-raiser,” says Schumer’s communications director, Phil Singer. “He’s become more of a strategist and tactician.”

Schumer hired a top party fund-raiser, Julianna Smoot, and a well-respected political director, Guy Cecil. To do press, he brought in Singer, a wound-up master opposition researcher and favorite of Washington reporters, who looks like a trim, 30-year-old version of Schumer. He installed J. B. Poersch as executive director. A dead-ringer for the late comedian Chris Farley, Poersch is a coveted operative whose last stint was running the Kerry campaign in Ohio, the Waterloo for Democrats in 2004. After that searing near-victory, Poersch, like Schumer, gravitated to the DSCC out of a sense of foreboding about what would happen if the Democrats lost three more seats. “This is the place of last refuge,” he says.

Even with this new team in place, the DSCC was still weighted down by the past, including $4 million in debt. Nothing is more depressing to donors than being called after a humiliating defeat and begged to pay off the old credit-card bill. “They hated that,” Schumer says. “Because they were paying for past mistakes.” Instead, Schumer and Reid demanded that Democratic senators themselves retire the debt. In a month, the DSCC was solvent.

10. I'm really glad to get this info. I didn't know any of this and I live in
NYC. If it was in the paper, it sure escaped my notice.

There is something too slick...too smooth about Schumer. He's another one that I have a lot of trouble trusting. And I voted for him.

He seems to operate very much as though he is independent of the Lobby, but I cannot help but wonder if he is not connected in some way.

I get the feeling that Hillary is to Schumer what Clarence Thomas is to Scalio..."Whither thou goest there go I."
