Do the Republicans really think that they can go back to the voters
with their idea of raising minimum wage while cutting estate taxes?

Don't they realize that even in the reddest of the reds, more people are concerned about minimum wages than there are about estates? Or even about having million dollars stashed someplace?

Many may have million dollars in a retirement account - the lucky one that never lost a job - but this money is for their retirement and not much will be in their "estate" once they are gone.

1. Yes, and they will be very convincing, too. At least to uninformed voters

6. this shows how bogus the estate tax issue is
My mother-in-law died, and left 2 million dollars. How much goes to the estate tax? None! The amount is too small.
