Here is one way Joe HAS been good for democrats...we should thank him.

According to the Hartford Courant this morning, interest in this race is so intense in Connecticut that 29,000 NEW REGISTERED DEMOCRATS have been added to the voter rolls. To be sure, many are republicans just switch-hitting, but many are real Democrats, and you can be sure a large percentage of the flip-floppers and the Independent->Democratic voters won't bother to go change their affiliation back before November 2006. So you see, Joe really has been good for Democrats!
