This is great for the Democrats, they lose a guy who has been a horrible cancer on the party as a walking embodiment of good-spirited emasculated loserdom since 2000 and a shrill, sore loser who has forsaken and shrilly berated his party since he was trounced in the presidential primary in 2004. He embodies the weakness, the weaseliness, the having it both ways ness, the inability to talk straight, the unprincipledness that have destroyed the Democratic brand and made the party toxic to voters across the country. His brand of elitism hurt Gore's attempt to run a populist campaign in 2000. His removal opens the possibility of a credible populist message around America, because he represents a clean break with the current administration and its corruption-driven legislative and executive teams, who have sold our government to the highest bidder.
