The Entire Republican Platform: Fear & Hatred

Here's what the Republicans have to offer: fear & hatred.

It's not that they can solve the problem of terrorism or stop terrorism in any way; it's just that they promise to FEAR AND HATE all Muslims more than Democrats.

They also promise to FEAR AND HATE gays more than Democrats.

They also promise to FEAR AND HATE sex more than Democrats.

They also promise to FEAR AND HATE flag burners more than Democrats.

They also promise to FEAR AND HATE uppity negros more than Democrats.

They also promise to FEAR AND HATE the poor and homeless more than Democrats.

Finally, they promise to FEAR AND HATE Mexican immigrants more than Democrats.

That's it. That's their entire platform!

But they breed the same hatred in me. I can't stomach these people, so much so that I rarely visit family in North Carolina anymore because a cousin of mine is a "staunch Conservative" according to my mom. this cousin who rode away from her wedding with a confederate flag flying in the breeze and is a Jesus freak. These people suck.

I know I have to go visit because My grandmother is much older now and I miss her, but I will need serious counseling on how to deal with hearing this stuff LIVE ...

I went totally nuts at work during the 04 election when talking to my mom on the phone when she said, "Kerry didn't earn those medals."

Im going to get that same type of drivel when my freeper family freakwads. The one who is most sensible is actually my father, Conservative as he may be is also a decorated Vietnam War vet and very successful. He loads up with right-wing shit too, but when we talk he does seem reasonable. These other crazies? No hope.

Edit: We really need to label the repubs as "TheoCons" because the country is turned off by being dominated by religious zealots. It's even turning off some Conservatives IE. John Dean and many others.

Right Wing Authoritarians. and very dangerous.
