The GOP doesn't give a DAMN about Lieberman

Come on, people. They don't care whether Lieberman wins or loses now. In fact, they didn't want him to win the primary at all. Why do you think they endorsed him so much? They knew that would cheese off liberals and they wanted him to lose so that when Lamont won, they could begin the usual "Democrats are soft on terror" mantra.

Doesn't anyone find it highly convenient that the very next day, they already had their slogans and talking points all set up? "Defeat-O-Crats" and all that other nonsense.

And THEN, the terror alert, which they knew about before the election, but waited to unleash to the public right after they let the usual bullshit about Democrats being soft on terror sink in.

This is not a conspiracy. This is obvious from the get go. This has been happening for the last 5 years. It's just that they've done it now so many fucking times that people are finally starting to see it. These terror plots are real. The timing in which they are released to the compliant corporate run media is not.

I think Lamont has done a very good job at speaking back RIGHT AWAY to all the stupid accusations made against him and the Dems. I don't think Rovian tactics are going to work this time!
