Karl will ride Joe hard and fast to November victory.
Can you see it? It's in your face!
This is definitely the strategy going into November.
Terror Terror......Dems are weak on fighting terror.

This whole thing with Lieberman and the terror alert played right into it like a Rove script.

Democrats HAVE to speak out now or we WILL not take control of either house. They're (republicans) are using the same old playbook but it is a winning strategy no matter how awful they are. They (Democrats) need to push back hard on Lieberman! It would be a damn shame to be defeated by one that was our own.

This from Crooks and Liars:

http://www.crooksandliars.com/posts/2006/08/10/lieberman-even-uses-terrorism-as-a-tool-like-the-republicans/

Lieberman

"If we just pick up like Ned Lamont wants us to do, get out by a date certain, it will be taken as a tremendous victory by the same people who wanted to blow up these planes in this plot hatched in England. It will strengthen them and they will strike again."

Cheney:

…the basic, fundamental notion that somehow we can retreat behind our oceans and not be actively engaged in this conflict and be safe here at home, which clearly we know we won’t — we can’t be.

“It’s an unfortunate development, I think, from the standpoint of the Democratic Party, to see a man like Lieberman pushed aside because of his willingness to support an aggressive posture in terms of our national security strategy,’’

Lamont responds:

“Wow,” Mr. Lamont said, after asking a reporter to read Mr. Lieberman’s remark about him. “That comment sounds an awful lot like Vice President Cheney’s comment on Wednesday. Both of them believe our invasion of Iraq has a lot to do with 9/11. That’s a false premise.”

Lieberman then hides from Chris Dodd:

Earlier that evening, Lieberman spurned a meeting with Dodd, his longtime colleague who had come to caution against making a hasty decision to run as an independent and to explain why he would be supporting Lamont in the fall, according to a Democratic official who asked not to be identified in order to speak freely about events on primary night.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I see Gov. Richardson has spoke out and Senator Kerry yesterday but they need to be consistent and specific as it relates to National Security.

I really like this quote I saw from Wes Clark yesterday:

You see, despite what Joe Lieberman believes, invading Iraq and diverting our attention away from Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden is not being strong on national security. Blind allegiance to George W. Bush and his failed "stay the course" strategy is not being strong on national security. And no, Senator Lieberman, no matter how you demonize your opponents, there is no "antisecurity wing" of the Democratic Party.

Now, I am sending this quote to my senators Durbin and Obama and begging them to develop talking points to use against Lieberman and the GOP. Yes they ARE one in the same now! WAKE UP DEMOCRATS!
Lieberman is a Rove wet dream! I know.....ewwwww....sorry for the imagery but if they don't push back on lieberman we are toast!

5. Dems can't tread lightly on this just cause Lieberweasel was a Dem.
Lieberman is getting alot of free press and he is using it. I hate to use this phrase but he is playing hard ball against Lamont on National Security and doing Karls work. This is what will defeat us in just a couple months people. Bush is already getting a terror bounce. They have nothing else.
"Dems are weak on terror" spouted by an X Dem must be countered! Now! Please send a message to your Dem leaders!
