Lieberman picks up another endorsement
After winning the endorsement of New York mayor Michael Bloomberg, Joe Lieberman has won the endorsement of Bob Kerrey, a Democrat who served as governor and senator of Nebraska and most recently served as co-chair of the 9/11 commission.

4. Like Lieberman, Kerrey IS a liberal. He's a hawk too.
You act as though you can't be a liberal if you're a hawk. But if that's true, then FDR, Truman, JFK, LBJ and Humphrey weren't liberals. Why would you want to deprive modern liberalism of its greatest champions?

8. There is that business of the war crimes in Vietnam
in which a SEAL team under Kerrey's command massacred a village.

10. Good point.
For me it is about execution. Incompetence. New leadership is needed now.

Machine. The students of the New School are NOT enthused to have him.

The "open forum" arguments they aired were very contentious months before the Iraqi invasion. The New School students remember his "Gung Ho, let's go liberate Iraq" meme ... and will NOT forgive him. :puke:
