Bush won't endorse Republican challenging Lieberman in CT (Breaking)
http://www.rawstory.com/

It's a headline but no link yet.

Personally I think that'll be the kiss of death in a Northeastern state like Connecticut where foot fungus and Bed Bugs are probably more popular than George Bush.

I think Bush might do us a favor if he endorses Lieberman

Joe L should not stay on committees or attend any dem caucuses.

BTW Rove called Joe and offered to help, "The boss said to call and ask
if you need anything."

3. put 'em in bed together . . . then attack the bed . . .
in other words, link Joe specifically to the BushCo agenda (not a stretch), and then attack the agenda, Bush, and Lieberman as a package . . . which they are . . .

9. As I said, Lynn .....
... the facts are undeniable, but the reasons, to me at least, are very unclear.

10. the president supports the democratic process in the state of Connecticut
http://www.rawstory.com/news/2006/White_House_Bush_declines_to_back_0814.html

When asked whether or not President Bush supports Alan Schlesinger in his bid to oust Lieberman, White House Press Secretary Tony Snow answered only that "the president supports the democratic process in the state of Connecticut, and wishes them a successful election in November."

11. Raw Story shouldn't help him call himself an "Independent Democrat"!
It's bad enough that he's doing it himself. But Now Raw Story is repeating that without any sort of attribution like quotes, etc.

Are they just trying to prevent the Republicans from coming out and supporting him by repeating his line that he's still some sort of Democrat?
