Ernesto?
source: http://www.weatherunderground.com/tropical/at200605.disc.html

However...all of the global and regional models now agree on recurvature over the eastern Gulf of Mexico around 96 hours...and take Ernesto northeastward across the central or northern Florida Peninsula by 120 hours. The official track is similar to but a little west of the consensus models.

The intensity forecast was as equally difficult to prepare as the track forecast was...and it highly dependent on the exact track that Ernesto takes due to land interaction with Haiti and Cuba. Excluding land interaction...the environmental and ocean conditions current and forecast to be affecting Ernesto are highly conducive for rapid intensification in the near term...and for the potential development of a major hurricane in the longer term.

1. A request....
....please use the official information from the National Hurricane Center (http://www.nhc.noaa.gov). Weatherunderground, Accuweather and the rest of that ilk are .com sites that gussy up the information in a slick web site and pass it off as their own analysis (we have already bought and paid for the NHC information). Furthermore, fetus kisser Rick Santorum (R Depths-of-Insanity) proposed a bill which would have limited access to the official government weather and forced everyone to use these pay sites (pay in terms of clicks), which, oh this is a coincidence, are headquartered in Senator Fetus Kisser's Pennsylvania (and which made large donations to his campaign).

3. The infamous S.786
Title: A bill to clarify the duties and responsibilities of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the National Weather Service, and for other purposes.

The 'other purposes' = Accuweather payback

4. Hey, aviation pro, you were saying this yesterday too.
Some of us like to use wunderground too, even if it is not a gov site, even if the people had to pay for the domain, even if there are ads. Personally, I use Firefox and don't get any popups which is very nice. Thank you for sharing this information again, I will continue to use both.
