Schooldchildren (sic) recall 9/11 with Bush
Looks like the media blitz to hype Bush's image is on! Still, nothing can erase five years of failure:

Schooldchildren recall 9/11 with Bush

By PHIL DAVIS, Associated Press Writer
1 hour, 20 minutes ago

"His face just started to turn red," said Tyler, now 13 and in seventh grade. "I thought, personally, he had to go to the bathroom."

For a puzzling seven minutes, the youngsters read aloud from the story "The Pet Goat" while the shaken president followed along in front of the class, trying to come to grips with what he had been told — that a second plane had just hit the World Trade Center and the nation was under terrorist attack.

2. Going to cry? That would require empathy or some semblance
of emotion; Bushie has none of that.

8. i dont know why i was hoping for something better
I was expecting an uncouth, awesome remark from a young adult who saw his dumbass firsthand. Instead, you cant judge a man on seven minutes??!??!?1/

If i was one of those kids, i would know as an adult that was the defining moment in my soon career in politics.

9. a story with editorial comment: "Filmmaker Michael Moore used the...
...classroom video to embarrass Bush" in the scathing documentary "Fahrenheit 9/11."

suuuuuure. except of course, the footage was meant to illustrate the failure of bush to respond in a timely matter to the crisis at hand, not 'embarrass' him. any embarrassment was a bonus!

oh, and i'm sure folks noticed the republican talking point from the one kid?

"You can't judge a man on seven minutes," said 15-year-old Stevenson Tose'-Rigell, who was then a fifth-grader and was with Bush in the school library later that day. "What he did is what he could do."
