Clinton aide says 9/11 film 'correct'
(I am not sure about this source but the headline/story gave me a wtf! moment!) These bastards will stop at nothing!

A former military aide to President Clinton who claims he witnessed several missed opportunities to capture or kill Osama bin Laden says the producer of the ABC mini-series "The Path to 9/11" came to him in frustration after network executives under a heavy barrage of criticism from former administration officials began pressing for changes to the script.

*snip*

Patterson told WND he recognizes the television production conflates several events, but, in terms of conveying how the Clinton administration handled its opportunities to get bin Laden, it's "100 percent factually correct," he said.

Patterson is also the author of "Dereliction of Duty" so he obviously has an extreme bias, IMO.

3. The source: Buzz Patterson, wingnut darling of the Radical Right
He's been flinging poo since before he left Mr. Clinton's employ. So this should come as no surprise.

6. Even if that's true, Bush could have had Bin Laden at Tora Bora, but
backed off,and this happened after 9/11 when we had just cause to go after him. Remember Clinton was not in office when so many innocent Americans where killed. Bush is deflecting his responsibility. His followers are afraid to look at the actual events and climate of this administration. We all must realize that what Clinton did or did not do is no excuse for the lousy job that Republicans have done since they have had almost total power. It does not serve our republic to ignore fact that our federal government must adhere to our established rule of law and not the whims of an infantile fearful populace. We have no time to rehash history. We must secure this world now against the bigotry, distrust, environmental misuse, and spiritual oppression of the Republican Party.

7. This is all a Rovian setup.
"Everybody's got to calm down and watch the movie," Nowrasteh told WND. "This is not an indictment of one president or another. The villains are the terrorists. This is a clarion bell for people to wake up and take notice."

Translation: Calm down and watch the movie so we can scare you half to death and remind you of the past, because the last thing we want you to do is pay attention to what's happening RIGHT NOW.

This article's sources are 4 military aides to Clinton. Only one would say his name, because he wrote a book smearing Clinton during a previous election cycle. The other 3 are apparently still in the military. Given what we've learned about unnamed sources, this story is based on the word of one of Clinton's many assistants over the years.

Now, do you want to believe him, or do you want to believe the 9/11 Commission?

bu$h was told about alQueda's intentions when they took office and they refused to listen and did nothing for 8 months.
Then once alQueda attacked, they went after the wrong man.

Probably in the same category of "witness" as the greasy palmed AK secret service, who claimed to "see" Clinton having affairs. :eyes:

18. The whole thing is a set-up. Even the fact that junior is giving his
speech on Monday night, the night that ABC says that the heat will be on him for his part in 9-11. He has been on the networks blabbering all week long night and day, so there isn't really much left for him to say. You would think that on 9-11 he would give his speech during the hour of the anniversary to attract more attention to his political agenda. Waiting until the time that the ABC show comes on is only a ploy to distract people from anything on the "docudrama" that might put him in a bad light.

Otherwise he'd be in bed.

21. And Ruby Ridge is Clinton's fault too
This thread shows our problem, how quickly people fold at the very hint of opposition. Have we not learned YET that they will say anything and they will ALWAYS find somebody to back up their bullshit?? The Republicans undermined Clinton at every turn and that's what happened. Good for Clinton for not listening to PNAC cowboy 'diplomats', we see where their thinking gets us and it's not good.
