If this "Unity 08" thing gets off the ground at all, it will be manipulated by the GOP to put forward a ticket that will draw off centrist Dem votes and help someone real right-winger like Allen or Frist get elected. And Democrats will probably end up sitting on our thumbs -- AGAIN -- whining, how did they pull that off?
