How much money did the GOP leadership give Foley to get him
re-elected? Who was financing his campaign even after they knew he was a pervert? Why did they not make him resign quietly for health reason? Isn't this the big story? They were still backing him and allowing him to sit on the committee for missing and exploited children after they knew. THEY WANTED HIM RE-ELECTED!! That is the REAL scandal.

1. Probably not a lot. He likely did a load of his own fundraising, AND
his seat, up until now, was considered "safe."

Heh...now it's in the frying pan!

3. You're right but I'm sure he was voting their way anyway. So far
I have not heard any media make a point of the real scandal which is that they wanted him, even after they knew he was a pedophile, RE-ELECTED.

4. I'm getting ready to go on a long sales trip and can't do the research
but I hope someone here will take a look at his voting record (vote with the leadership) both before and after these incidents were reported to them.
