Woodward's claim that Bush cried is hard to swallow
Edited on Sun Oct-01-06 02:46 PM by ProSense
From the NY Daily news:

The idea that Bush broke into a "deep, convulsive cry" after "a long nail-biting night" doesn't wash. Given all that we know about the election, from vote suppression to money laundering, by the likes of Ken Blackwell, Abramoff, Noe, and others (linked directly to Bush), the Swift Liars aided by Bush's lawyer and Jeb Bush's letter to the Swift Liars, it's hard to swallow that this was some long hard road Bush traveled that would evoke such a response. Then there are the images from election night:

4. I can see
him crying as a "we got Away with it" moment - like any felon might after committing illegal acts. A loss would have been his most public failure and likely would have sent him permanently to the Jim Beam Home.

5. Maybe it's not so hard to
believe he cried, because, I think that deep down inside he was hoping it was all over..due to the manipulation by Cheney and his puppet strings. I am not sympathetic at all- don't get me wrong-but even the best of us would crumble if we were constantly told what to do and say! I think GW was wishing for a way out!

:puke:

I can't imagine what the parents and siblings of the close to 2,800 killed and over 20,000 maimed and brain damaged would have cried.

But...we are supposed to "feel YOUR pain?" YOU CHOSE YOUR PATH! We didn't!!!!

7. I can totally picture it
Narcissists with their contrived behavior patterns designed to make an impression cry quite often.
