"Values Voters" sent foley to DC to do their bidding
The religiously insane amongst us don't care if their congressman is fucking young boys or girls as long as they are voting to force the hate filled "christian" agenda down the throats of America. And at the top of their wish list is the ruination of our constitution because it dares gives (attempts) to provide rights, justice and protection to all. Now that is certainly an "unchristian" concept. The only thing foley (and ney and cunningham and delay etc.) did wrong in their eyes is get caught.
2. This is why I predict that Foleys district will remain GOP
They don't give a crap about anything but getting ready for the Rapture. So what if a few children get abused alnog the way. All that matters is that Christians (pretend or otherwise) get elected. Jesus will sort it all out. I predict that just like the fools in Duke Cunninghams district they will relect a Republican. I think they would vote for a Republican even if it had been found out that Foley had murdered a young Paige. They really just want to keep their party in power.
I hope I am wrong but I won't be surprised if a Repub wins this seat in November. I wouls suggest that alot of people knew he was gay and didn't care ( as well they shouldn't) but play with the children sends everyone into a frenzie and beside th real question here is not really about Foley he is a guy with a prediliction for young boys....it has been happening since the begining of man kind what is really th issue here is what the Republican leadership did (didn't do) to protect Foley and themselves. And remember Foley was a prolific fund raiser ( take note of the $100,000 donation to Republican campaign) The repubs knew they had a fight on their hands and weren't willing to let an ATM machine like Foley go down.
