Rice Forgot Briefing Described as Urgent Threat ‘10 On a Scale of 1 to 10'
Rice can't remember power point briefing-

Intel Officials: Rice’s July 2001 Briefing Described Urgent Threat, ‘10 On a Scale of 1 to 10?
Condoleezza Rice describes her briefing with CIA officials George Tenet and Cofer Black on July 10, 2001 as relatively unremarkable. Here’s how her spokesman Sean McCormack described it yesterday:

<snip>State Department spokesman Sean McCormack … the information Rice got “was not new'’ and didn’t amount to an urgent warning. “Rather, it was a good summary from the threat-reporting from the previous several weeks,'’ McCormack said in a statement from Saudi Arabia where Rice is traveling.
Earlier in the day, Rice questioned whether the meeting even happened and said that it was “incomprehensible” the meeting included a warning that U.S. interests faced an imminent threat from al-Qaeda.

Here’s how the briefing was described by the officials who prepared it, according to McClatchy:

One official who helped to prepare the briefing, which included a PowerPoint presentation, described it as a “10 on a scale of 1 to 10? that “connected the dots” in earlier intelligence reports to present a stark warning that al-Qaida, which had already killed Americans in Yemen, Saudi Arabia and East Africa, was poised to strike again…

“The briefing was intended to `connect the dots’ contained in other intelligence reports and paint a very clear picture of the threat posed by bin Laden,” said the official, who described the tone of the report as “scary.”
Rice also considered the August 6 President’s Daily Brief, entitled “Bin Laden Determined to Strike US,” an historical document.<snip>

3. Hmmmm! kind of interesting
On one hand, earlier on, in this grand debacle, Rice along with other members of b*shCo insisted that the dots were never connected hence they were unaware of the imminent attack. Now it turns out a comprehensive presentation of the 'so called' disconnected reports was made to Rice*Co, which they now describe as "... a good summary from the threat-reporting from the previous several weeks". Now which one is it? I guess we don't need to bother because no one can do anything about it anyway.

5. 10 on a scale of 1 to 10?
Was 10 really bad or really good? See? No wonder Dr. Rice couldn't remember. I mean, if you're number 10 in the top 10, that means you're not really number 1, so if the threat level is 10 on a scale of 1 to 10, that could mean that it wasn't really very threatening.

Besides, why's everybody so upset about Dr. Rice anyway? She was the National Security Advisor, not the National Security, uh, Things-Doer. Wasn't her responsibility to do anything about national security, just advise.

Call it far-fetched, but I'll bet you see some variant on the above two paragraphs within the next couple of weeks.

9. Another obvious evidence that this amnesiac liar scores blank
in any competence required "to protect the American people" because, obviously, again, because she can't remember zits about anything except the amount on her paycheck.

Heck of a job, CONdy...

10. Notice that Rice did not come out and say,
"It never happened". She qualifies her reply by saying she does not remember or does not recall. This is no accident and it gives her wiggle room. Perhaps legal wiggle room. But in hindsight it does appear to be a very important and a politically convenient thing to forget. Why is this only coming out now as opposed to years ago? Either way, one small whiff of wind may cause a house of cards to tumble.
