She is a cut above the avg. female talking head in intelligence and oh, so cute...
help me!

Oh, by the way, she was talking about how Shrub is in trouble by appointing all the members of the intelligence inv. commision. (added on edit so thread not moved...)

edited for spelling

1. No offense, but she's a WH press corps "stenographer"
She won't go too far in her criticisms - Scotty (McClellan) will cut her out of the inner circle. Mustn't have that...

2. As for Stenos
Edited on Sat Feb-07-04 10:32 AM by StClone
Reporters job is to report all the facts in-depth and accurate. But if that were the case she couldn't make a living outside of blogging, which isn't much compensation.

The attack should be on the Corporate media. If I wanted a good paying job and had to choose between blogging and stenography I could see the latter choice as harmless from my point of view. On a whole, it's the death of the media and for that I blame the Corp money grubbers and control freaks.

5. No, a reporters job is to INVESTIGATE statements made...
...by the WH. For example:

Lawrence Silberstein - WHY hasn't she looked into this bastard's checkered past?

Chuck Robb - Here's a very crooked Dem - nothing on him? What about the Bush family's involvement in the ethics panel investigation of him?

6. They are just doing their job
CNN reporters are paid to put on a news "show" not investigate. The reporters are missing in action not only by choice but by design of their corporate employers. Wolf Blitzer is a really good case in point. He acts all tough and grizzly but is a little teddy bear to the Right people. His income is based on playing that role.

3. Susan Malveaux is one smart lady!
Does anyone have her email address so we can thank her for her excellent reporting?

I am impressed.

I'm also impressed with the new male African American reporter on CNN. I saw him handle Rug Rat Novak the other day and he cut him down a peg or two.

Problem is Novak will quickly see that the new reporter is classy and then the new guy will be gone.

I'm going to send a note to CNN in praise of both of them.

It's also about time that the so called liberal media gives minorities a break. During the "shock and awe period" I never saw one minority reporter other than Rivera(ha) and since that time it has only been Susan I think. For my money she should replace that Arron Brown,he is so dull and boring. Why is he there? Does his father own the network?

7. I really like Suzanne, but I love Aaron Brown
So I have to disagree with you there. Aaron has never been a right wing hack. He actually asks thoughtful questions and actually lets people give complete answers. He has had a number of fairly radical experts on his show on a range of issues. He refuses to give much coverage to Lacy Peterson type stories. Actually I think he is a hoot, though his wit is very dry. I burst out laughing out loud almost every show at some sly zinger he throws into his commentary, and usually it is at the expense of someone I just love to see get nailed.

Anyway, we can agree on Suzanne, I hope they give her an increasing role.

8. P.S.

11. Arron Brown might be dry but
The guy is on the side of decent caring Americans, you can't fault him on that. He has endlessly reported without much care of a GOP backlash. He is a stand up guy. We need more folks like Arron!

12. Here's her link

http://www.cnn.com/CNN/anchors_reporters/malveaux.suzanne.html

She's a great looking and sounding lady. Too bad she's only a note-taker and talking head for CNN.

9. Love is in the air!
Hey, it's almost Valentine's Day!! While watching Suzanne this morning, I was thinking that it must feel good to reporters who've been ordered to white wash * for 3+ years to finally be allowed to tell it, somewhat, like it is!

13. Sorry, I think she's a R
I had a crush on her, too, when she was doing local news here. However, listening to her on that news show with other women journalists, she comes off as pro-Bush* and too right wing for my tastes. She has apologized for Smirky way too many time. Killed the fantasy...

14. I prefer Dr. Julianne Malveaux's politics, and brain
Edited on Sat Feb-07-04 11:15 AM by roughsatori
Suzanne has been a Shrub apologist for the last few years. That in itself is an anti-erotic. So what she developed a spine for one hour ( after Shrub's poll numbers indicated it was safe to do). That hardly increases my tumescence. Also she is on an all female news discussion show and is clearly a Republican.
