Would George Allen rat out Foley to get the MSM off his back?
ABC news has hinted that the source for the IMs was a republican..

He would have a lot to gain by these IMs getting out to the news media

Just asking...

4. Yuck, Who's going to cannibalize Denny?
I'm afraid he's going to be the only one left.

Back to the topic...Yes, I wouldn't put it past Macaca.
He has the most to gain. I sure hope that doesn't mean Allen will be re-elected. How can we bring the subject up again? Do what the Rethugs do...pay some journalists...but who? They're all already deep in Bush's front pockets.

3. Allen
I would be surprised if it was. For one thing, House leadership probably held this rather tightly, knowing their majority was in jeopardy. Second, he would have known it'd hurt Republican races across the country, including his own, to out this information. Third, ABC said the sources (plural, I believe), if they were any party were Republican. That doesn't mean it was a Republican politician, nor a single person. It'd be the pages themselves who worked for Republican congresspersons, I'd guess. But it would be more unlikely then likely that Allen did it.
