Foley all the time? Why?
Woodward's book must be true. They sacrificed Foley because they knew it would get Woodward's book off the news. While this is a bad thing for the repubs, they are painting him as a gay, which of course, what would you expect from someone like him.

The president is getting a free ride on Woodward's book. If Foley's shit hadn't hit the fan, we'd be talking Woodward's book.

1. Why? Because it's about sex. No conspiracy is necessary.
A sex scandal will always trump any other news.

2. If we were talking about Woodward's book
We'd be talking about something else by the end of the week. As far as PR goes, this is the worst thing that could have happened to them.

3. BOTH issues will effect voters
Both are important...

But like the media keeps saying --- when you do something to our children, it HITS HOME.

As bad as things are in Iraq... Foley-Gate will change the face of the Republican Party forever.

Republicans --->

5. Uh, people are taking about Woodward's book
And it's in the news. Even the MSM can cover more than one thing at a time. As can most DUers. As can most people.

7. To be fair, it's extraordinarily difficult to keep track off all of the
GOP scandals, and which ones to talk about.

There are so, so many.....where do you begin?

Foley just happens to be the latest outrage.

10. So that no one pays attention to anything else.
12 soldiers have died in Iraq in the month of October. It is only October 3rd. Many Iraqi civilians were killed today as the result of three separate bombings in Baghdad. Darfur is getting more and more horrendous. Anderson Cooper has been reporting from the Congo, and that is equally horrifying. Yet another awful school shooting, this one in Lancaster county, Pennsylvania. The Woodward book tells anyone who will take the trouble to read it that this pathetic excuse for a President and his no-nothing lackeys ignored reports that actually might have prevented the attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001.

That's why it's all Foley, all the time. Pitiful.

11. Because...
Hard evidence that the WH was warned, directly, about the pending 9/11 attacks is coming to light.

And anyone who makes a fuss about it is going to be declared an enemy combatant and disappear, in accordance with newly passed legislation.

ANd by the time the Foley story blows over, we are all expected to be good cows in our little veal pens, awaiting slaughter.

EOM.

16. When the whore media have LOGOS & MUSIC & REGULARLY SCHEDULED PROGRAMS
soley devoted to this REPUKE SCANDAL like they did the Clenis, then we can talk about "foley all the time" or "complain.

As far as WE'RE concerned, it's not NEARLY long enough or enough saturation coverage by a long shot...
