Why are people looking a gift horse in the mouth? (re: Foley)

Seriously, this is one of the best things to happen to us all year, and yet some here still seem to think the glass is half empty.

Your average American with an IQ above 80 who isn't a complete religious right-bot can certainly see the difference between two consenting adults of the same gender and a congressman and a 16 year old boy. And this is hurting them more than anything else that could've made the news. Your typical scandal lastsa about a week. This is going to stick. It's sad but true, sex scandals work, the lies about Iraq and everything else just don't last long. Put the tin foil away and just be happy the GOP fucked this one up big time, because it's nothing but good.

Today was the first time in a long time I just couldn't tune into his show -- but I flat out disagree with him on this one.

They have already blamed it on political correctness--The house leadership didn't want to say anything in fear of getting labeled as gay bashers. Right.

give this scandal the attention it deserves. All Foley posts should be put in the same forum so that we may address this issue and understand it better and thus present it to the public at a faster clip.

I mean, it's a good idea and all..

But it's too hot of a story to stay off the "big boards" I think.
