Karl Rove is not God. Karl Rove is not omnipotent.
Yes, he pays dirty and he plays for keeps. Yes he has enormous power given his position in the white house. Yes, he has kicked our ass from one side of the country to the other.

But he is just a flawed man ..... just like anyone else. He can't walk on water. He can't cause as many things to happen as get attributed to him. He is incapable of self-levitation. Mountains remain in place no matter how much he commands them to move.

What he *is* good at is capitalizing on events that **just happen**.

You can cower in fear.

You can attribute to him all the ills in the world - from Iraq to that boil on your ass - if that floats your boat.

Or you can stand and fight.

All the talk that gets talked day in and day out about how powerful this soft, corpulent little man is does nothing but cause hopelessness.

Should we be mindful of him? Of course. He does do things that cause us to hold the shitty end of the stick.

But at the end of the day ....... he just ain't all that.

Just cower ....... or take power? That's the question of the day.

1. Best way to fight a dirty pig is to take off your white shirt
and kick him hard. Rinse well.

2. Sure. Brilliant. It's like calling an athlete who poisons his rivals

. . .a "brilliant champion."

He's a criminal liar. Anyone can "win" if they are willing to go to any lengths.

Thank goodness that truth has a power of it's own, and will always win in the end.

3. Republicans are pretty good at
creating legends, and that's all Karl is, a self-made legend.

Luckily, i have the pleasure, for once, of watching him get his ass kicked.

I often think that Karl is somewhere (prolly right now as you read this) feverishly wondering how to maintain his reputation as the election grows closer and things aren't looking good. The only downside to this is that we all know that they are gonna have to try more and more radical surprises to stay in power, and that could get really messy, including a unilateral strike on IRAN.

5. Yup, it would appear that circumstances are overwhelming him .......
..... he can't even keep Stupid's poll numbers above 40. There's now way his old schtick is working. That's not to say some new schtick isn't in the offing and we'd be damned well off to watch for it and be ready.

But as he's sinking, it appears - finally - that our side is (at least starting to) doing the right thngs.

6. His "war" in Iraq proves your point. It is a complete failure. He had
it started through lies and deceit by getting his cronies Powell, Rumsfeld do the dirty work only to make Bush** look like a "wartime president" and to get the flags flying. It continues today because Halliburton needs the $$ for its bottom line and the need to have a continuous war. It is looking worse every day for that slimy "political advisor".

7. Yes it's time we re-humanize the man. What political operative couldn't
have used 9/11 to his/her advantage?

He really didn't do THAT much. Defeating the Republicans in that climate would have really been miraculous.
